Day 1: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (place of little birds)

2 Days Gorilla trekking safari from kabale,   Africa Safaris representative will pick you from Kabale residence or hotel after breakfast, brief you about the tour. Start your 53.2 km journey to Lake Bunyonyi. Upon arrival you will have a boat cruise on the lake where you will visit its 29 islands including the historical punishment island, along with a number of countless birds. Retreat to the shores for a lunch break.  After lunch head back to the lake and engage in a number of activities like swimming, sun bathing, horse riding, bicycle riding among others. Later head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check in the lodge have dinner and night stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

On last day of 2 Days Gorilla trekking safari from kabale, you will wake up very early in the morning for breakfast, carry packed lunch and meet up with your guide driver and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while in the forest. You will be divided in groups of 8 persons and allocated a gorilla family to trek, start your hike to the forest accompanied with an armed guide driver. The search can take for 4-8 hours of searching depending on where the gorillas hosted the previous night and on your trekking speed, your argued to take enough drinking water, walking stick provided at the HQ. Up on meeting these endangered species you will be given a full hour to spend with them in their natural home, an encounter with these apes is one of the most rewarding activities in the world and the feeling you get no amount of words can express it, you will watch them play, breast feed, eat, nursing young etc. After trek back to the park head where you will be rewarded a trekking certificate to justify your contribution in the preservation of these endangered species.

Return to the lodge for refreshments, pack your bags and meet with your guide who will drop your Kabale town or transfer to Entebbe to catch your flight back home depending on your flight schedule, this marks the  end of 2 Days Gorilla trekking tour from kabale (lake Bunyonyi).
