Detailed Itinerary: 5 Days Rwanda Gorillas Safari
Day 1: Arrival- Kigali to Ruhengeri.
(Volcanoes National Park) On arrival, you will be picked by the driver guide, enjoy a safari in Kigali city or transfer directly to Musanze previously called Ruhengeri & the foundation for Gorilla tracking in Rwanda. Check-in, relax, Dinner & overnight stay.
Accommodation – Hotel Muhabura
Day 2,3: Gorilla tracking
Enjoy your breakfast & after, you will transfer to the park offices (Volcanoes National Park) for a briefing by the guides, having packed your lunch you will then embark on your Gorilla Tracking activity into the light Mountain forest on the Virunga slopes. Usually, this activity elapses for a duration of about 2-8hrs (Hiking & tracking gorillas) reliant on the Gorillas’ state of motion. You may have a non-compulsory Ibyiwacu community walk/decide to relax at the lodge, Dinner & Overnight stay.

Day 4: Golden monkey tracking
Breakfast & set off for the Golden monkey tracking activity in the volcanoes National Park (same routine as Gorilla tracking). This venture takes 3 – 4 hrs & descend back to your lodge, relax &have lunch. You can, later on, get involved in an optional community walk if you so wish,
Dinner & Overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure
