Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Day 1 of 3 days golden monkey habituation in mgahinga gorilla national park, Our company representative who is also your guide driver will pick you up your location either at a hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe or at the Airport. He will brief you about the safari and start you journey to Southwestern Uganda via Masaka-Mbarara High way. You will have a stopover at the equator the imaginary line that divides the world into to hemispheres, you will be give time to take as many photos as you can and also spot local people doing their day to day activities. Embark on your journey with another stop in Mbarara the land of Milk for a lunch break. After lunch en-route to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Kisoro, on arrival check in at the lodge for dinner and night rest as you prepare for the exiting adventures of the following day.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking

On day 2 of 3 days golden monkey habituation in mgahinga gorilla national park, you will wake up very early in the morning for a heavy breakfast and after meet up with your driver guide and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the rules and regulation to follow while in the forest, you will be divided in groups and each group allocated a monkey family to trek led by a park ranger guide. Start your adventurous search of the monkeys that can take from 30- 2 hours while watching birds, plants and other primates. On meeting the Golden Monkey family, you will be allocated a full hour to spend with them in their natural environment watch them swing from branch to branch, play, breast feed young ones, eat among others, take as many photos as possible with non-flash light cameras.

After monkey trekking return to the lodge for lunch a break. After lunch you will or a cultural encounter in the Batwa Community these where the first inhabitants of the forest, they will take you through their culture and history, entertainment through music, dance and drama etc. After the encounter return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 3: Return to Kampala
