Detailed: 14 Days Uganda Kenya Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Uganda

Right on your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked by the driver guide who will transfer you to a hotel/lodge, check-ins, relax & if there is still enough reasonable time you could willingly engage in simple activities around like visiting the Uganda Wildlife Educational Centre. Overnight stay.

Accommodation – Papyrus Guesthouse

Day 2: Drive to Kibale National Park

Have breakfast, be transferred to Kibale National Park (positioned in the Southern direction of Fort Portal town) -the city of a high chimpanzee populace, have a clear view of the beautiful scenery/settings as you dip into the tea plantations, active markets on the village, etc. This park also shelters mammals like Black & White Colobus, infrequent Red Colobus, check-in, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 3: Get involved in the Chimpanzee Tracking activity

Enjoy your breakfast, embark on your activity of Chimpanzee Tracking where you will head straight to the park headquarters first for a briefing about the Dos & Don’ts of the activity.

Once you track them, you are strictly given 1hr watching them, taking photos of them, and well enjoy the moment with these endangered species.

Have lunch and you could choose to engage in the hike to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary which shelters about 8primate species, approximately 200 bird species, several Reptiles plus a number of Butterflies, & can get an opportunity to view the incredible attractive Great Blue Turaco, this is mainly for the Bird watching lovers. Return back to your lodge, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast & transfer to Uganda’s highly toured National Park- Queen Elizabeth, which is characterized by conserving the hugest Savannah plains, wetlands, Bushland plus the forests that are settled at the vile of the Rwenzori mountain series. Still, you will have a gaze at the incredible Kazinga channel which drifts via the park, linking Lakes like George (East) & Edward (West), all these having a strong pulling force for the birdlife though. Check-in, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 5: Engage in a Game drive & Boat cruise

Morning breakfast & then embark on your morning Game drive where you will spot a series of wildlife like the Elephants, Buffalos, then in the afternoon, involve yourself in the Boat cruise along the Kazinga channel – prominent for its high crocodile existence/concentration, you will also spot several water birds & animals as they do come down to drink water to quench their thirst & also have a bath. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mutanda

Breakfast & then transfer to Lake Mutanda, Southwest to Kisoro, leading you to the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, close to the boundary of both Rwanda & Congo. This lake contains a tranquillity of waters; it is also suspended on the peninsular where you can oversee a range of tiny islands dispersed transversely the water & you will also be able to spot the Virunga series (Volcanoes) mounting out of the haze in the distance. Check-in, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking

Early morning breakfast & report at the park headquarters for a briefing/instructions given by park ranger guide (about which Gorilla family you are to trek), then proceed into the forest for Gorilla Tracking activity. This could take 2-8 hours due to the movements of the mountain gorillas, then allowed only spend 1hr with them to watch & take photos of them. Return to the starting point, meet your driver & be transferred back to your lodge, relax, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Kigali

Relish the beauty of this Lake before you depart in the morning, you could either engage in a brief swimming, where by then you will be picked by the driver guide & transferred to Kigali International Airport crosswise the boundary of Rwanda. And then later still be transferred to Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, picked up by the driver guide & then transferred where you will stay for a night, check-in, Dinner.

Day 9: Engage in the Game drive activity in Lake Nakuru National Park

The driver-guide will pick you from your hotel after having breakfast and then transfer you to Lake Nakuru National Park. And while you are being transferred you will be able to spot the magnificent Thomson Falls & the Rift Valley outlook. This National Park does lie on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, bounded by wooded & bushy grassland. You will relish the biological variety & wide-ranging habitats that are ranging right from Lake Nakuru to the adjacent escarpment & scenic ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is comfortable when it comes to conducting activities like Bird watching, Hiking, and incredible game drives.

After lunch, you will get ready to embark on the afternoon Game drive and be able to spot a range of wildlife like Buffalos, Warthogs, Lions, plus other wild games, etc. Check-in, lunch, Dinner, and overnight stay.

 Day 10: Transfer to Masai Mara

Have breakfast and then transfer to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, which is positioned in the South-western parts of Kenya, bordering Tanzania. This National Park does shelter over 2million Wildebeest who make their annual trek from Serengeti National Park (Tanzania) in the North. Check-in into a lodge /Hotel, lunch, Dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 11,12: Whole day game drives in Masai Mara

Breakfast & then head to Masai Mara National Reserve for your full-day Game drive, & please leave with your packed lunch too. Sunrise is the perfect time for viewing wildlife. Here you will have a wide & clear view of the notorious Big-Five (Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo & Rhino), plus other wild game inclusive. This same National Reserve does shelter the incredible Wildebeest migration. Return back to your lodge, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 13: Have a Boat cruise on Lake Naivasha

Enjoy your breakfast & then be transferred to Lake Naivasha where you will get involved in an activity of Boat cruise to the crescent island. And once you are there (at the island) enjoy walking in the company of an expert occupant where you will be able to have a sight of so many dissimilar animals. Check-in, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 14: Departure

Enjoy your breakfast, & if time allows you could probably get involved in an elective activity close to the Lake/in the city before your departure flight. After which you will be transferred back to the Airport for your flight back home concluding your combined safari of 14Days Uganda & Kenya.
