Detailed Itinerary 12 Days Swaziland Hiking Safari

Day 1: Arrival at the Airport

On your arrival at the Airport (King Mswati III), you will be picked & then transferred to where you will be able to check in, lunch, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary

Have breakfast & then transfer to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, you could get an opportunity of probably strolling on foot & able to spot a series of wild game. Check in, have lunch, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 3,4: Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary

Enjoy your early morning breakfast & then embark on your gentle stroll in this sanctuary on the Hippo trails- (it is positioned about the prime Hippo loch & the central grasslands). Now while on your stroll you will be able to witness wild game such as Zebras, Wildebeest, Impala, to mention but a few, but not forgetting to spot the main block for the incredible Hippos. Return back, relax, lunch.

In the afternoon you can get engaged in touring the Mantenga Traditional village, that will enable you to get to know more about their lifestyle, beliefs of the Swazi people, more so they will also take you around this village introducing the Chief ‘s responsibilities in society plus his wives too. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 5:  Transfer to Malolotja

Enjoy your breakfast & then transfer to this Nature Reserve, this is recognized as the most outstanding mountain park positioned in Southern Africa, & by the way the ‘also vastest dwindling area in the kingdom. You will be able to spot a series of some striking outlook points after all it is this place with a series of wildlife & plant life which brands it Highveld preservation area.

Then enjoy your lunch & then transfer to Maguga dam containing picturesque roads that crowds a society originated spotlight which grants incredible sight over a stretch of water, then transfer towards Nsangwini Rock Art where you will then appreciate these people’s(Bushmen’s) Portrait /painting. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 6:  Ngwenya Mine & Ngwenya Glass Factory

Ngwenya mine is recognized highly as the original mine ever known in the world (43,000yrs ago), so you will link up with a tour guide who will take you visit the Lion Cavern (oldest section of the mine), & then later engage in touring the Ngwenya Glass Factory, get an opportunity to eye witness how recycled glass is easily twisted/fashioned in the Statuettes of Glass. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Mkhaya Game Reserve

Breakfast, then transfer to Mkhaya Game reserve, characterized with Acacia thorn grassland (south), plus broadleaf sand plain (North), still this reserve is intersected with arid riverbeds, waterholes that are spotted & a linkage of tangled wild spotting thoroughfares.

Breakfast, then get ready to engage in the morning Game drive where you will spot a series of wild games. Day 10: Mbuluzi Game Reserve

Day 11: Shewula Mountain Camp

Once in this place you will relish the striking spotlight, get to know about the Swazi tradition, lunch at the camp that is locally prepared by the ladies residing there plus overnight stay in the Camp.

Day 12: Departure 

Have your breakfast, check out, then you will be transferred back to the Airport so you could be in time to board your departure flight back home.
