Detailed – 12 Days Magical Malawi Safari
Day 1,2: Arrival -Nankoma island
While on your arrival at the Lilongwe International Airport, you will be welcomed, picked up by the driver guide then transferred to where you will have to check in, relax, lunch, Dinner & overnight stay at Blue Zebra lodge that is positioned in the Nankoma Island.
This lodge is characterized with features such as presenting to you the fashionable 8 tented en-suite villas each overseeing the lake having some crystal vibrant waters.
There exists a series of activities at this lodge like probably the client could decide to chill, relax at the time without an end pool, kayaking is another, you could also engage in playing the interesting game of volleyball, etc.
Day 3: Huntingdon House, Satemwa Tea Estates
Enjoy your well-made morning breakfast, then you will be transferred by the boat from the lodge to Senga bay-Salima. On your arrival the driver guide will pick you up & then transfer you to Huntingdon House stationed in Thyolo.
Thyolo is a district highly recognized in the country of Malawi as the most picturesque, lovely region, a vital hub in the country producing lots of Tea in line with undulating hills of spotless cultivation, plus pea green farms, also containing some prehistoric estates within the country.
A few details about the Huntingdon House outline that it was constructed in the year of 1920’s, & this estate has been managed by the Cathcart Kay family for generations with still these members still managing the Tea & coffee generation of the estate. This House which is outstandingly fashioned in the colonial style is enclosed by the impressive gardens plus the lovely trees which are old. Dinner & overnight stay at Huntingdon House.
Day 4,5: Satemwa Tea Estates
Breakfast, then get ready to set off, the whole day discovering the Satemwa Tea Estates. On your arrival you will get the opportunity to relish activities like the Tea tasting, Mountain biking, strolls/walks, to mention but a few. Still on the following day you will have to continue getting engaged in a full day, discovering this Tea Estate. Dinner & overnight stay at the Huntingdon House.
Day 6,7: Majete Wildlife Reserve
You will have to relish your morning breakfast, then embark on your trip heading to Majete Wildlife Reserve, here you will get a chance to engage in whole day game activities therein such as the boat tours, drives plus strolling around the place. Lunch, Dinner & overnight stay at Mkulumadzi lodge.
Day 8,9: Liwonde National Park
Having enjoyed your time at the Majete Wildlife Reserve, in the morning grab a cup of Tea/coffee then get ready to set off to your new terminus in line with your safari-Liwonde National Park. Check in, lunch, Dinner & overnight stay at Mvuu lodge.
On the next day you will be able to engage in the existing game activities for your whole day, & such activities involve strolling in & around the place, boat tours, plus the drives.
Day 10,11: Cape Maclear
After having your early morning breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up & transfer you to Cape, Maclear, where you will still check in, relax. Here you will relish a whole day discovering the Malawi National Park plus of course engaging in its non- motorized activities that it does present.
Dinner & overnight stay Pumulani lodge.
Day 12: Departure
Enjoy your breakfast, then embark on your journey towards the Airport so as to be right in time for your departure flight back home & concluding your 12Days Magical Malawi excursion.
