The park is well fenced to create harmony between humans and the wildlife it’s only the southern sector that is not fenced because it is an extension of Kitengela conservation Area, Athi Kapiti plains and Mbagathi, on a visit to the park you will witness a combination of modern civilization and wild nature. The park has an animal orphanage which offers rehabilitation and treatment of all wild animals in the whole of Kenya and acts as home to those that have lost their parents in the wilderness.
Day 1: Tour Nairobi National Park
On 1 day Nairobi national park, you will be picked up by your guide driver from the airport and head to Nairobi National Park. On reaching the park you will visit Baby elephants at the Daphne Shedrick museum, where lost baby elephants are brought and natured when they grow, they are taken to Tsavo East National park because Nairobi is too small to be home to elephants. After visit the Nairobi Animal Orphanage acts as treatment and rehabilitation center for wildlife in Kenya National Parks, you will spot lions, hyenas, jackals, serval cats, leopards, primates among others. After have lunch at Carnivore restaurant, after lunch visit the the impala observation point, ivory burning monument, have a walking safari at the raised wooden walkways that are in the park and spot wildlife. The safari will end with a visit at the Giraffe center where you will feed the endangered Rothchild giraffes and the Karen Blixen museum. After the guide driver will drop you off at either the airport or a hotel in Nairobi and call it a safari.
