Detailed Itinerary of 21-days safari to uganda, rwanda, kenya & tanzania tour

Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park/ Rhinos Tracking/ Top of the Falls/ Evening Game Drive.

Our company representative will pick you up from either the airport or hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe and start your transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Luwero-Masindi.

The first stop will be at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking, you will have a chance to encounter the Rhinos on foot, rhino tracking is one of the most fascinating activities in Uganda and Ziwa is the only place in Uganda to encounter one of Africa’s big five in Uganda. Lunch will be served at the sanctuary.

After lunch head to Murchison Falls National Park and the first activity in the park will be a visit to the top of the falls. You will awe at the rushing white waters as they squeeze through the narrow crevice. Later check in to a prior booked hotel/ lodge for dinner and night rest.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive/ Boat Cruise/ Birding/ Evening Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2 of 21-days safari to uganda, rwanda, kenya & tanzania tour, Wake up for a breakfast before sunrise, head for an early morning game drive on soft early light to spot the park’s wildlife as they come out to dew covered grass to grab a morning meal, you will watch species coming out the shadow of their nighttime adventure. Spot wildlife like elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Hippos, primates, variety of bird species. return to the lodge for a lunch break.

After lunch head to the Nile for a 2-hour boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, you will be rewarded with sights of Hippos, Crocodiles, Antelopes, Water birds along the shores of the river. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and night rest.

Day 3: Travel to Kibale National Park/ Community Walk.

Wake up to an early breakfast, you’ll later start your travel southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the great western rift valley to Kibale National Park via Hoima -Kyenjo district. Lunch will be served along the way.

On reaching the park, the first activity will be a community walk and cultural encounter in the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary located in the Magombe swamp this area is rich in a several primates like Colobus monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Grey cheeked monkey, Vervet monkey, Red-tailed monkey, L’Hoest Monkey. Later check in to a booked accommodation for lunch and dinner.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park

This a very rewarding day. You will be required to wake up very early for a heavy breakfast, carry packed lunch and meet with your guide driver, transfer to the park headquarter for briefing about the dos and don’ts while in the forest, after you will be allocated a chimpanzee family to track and a park ranger to lead your group who is well versed with the trails of the forest. You will start your search for the chimpanzee which can take from 30 to 4 hours depending on where the chimps hosted their previous night and on your hiking speed.

Along the way you will be rewarded with beautiful views of butterflies, Birds, plants, primates like vervet monkey, white and black colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkey, baboons and mammals. Once you meet the chimpanzee all the hustle you went through to get there will be washed away with a feeling of meeting the chimps that no amount of words can describe. You will be given a full hour to spend with these primates watch them play, feed, breast feed, play, hunt, rest, and experience their day to day activities and habits, you are free to take as many photos as you wish provided you use non-flash light cameras. After the full hour of Chimpanzee trekking you will be hike back to the Park HQ where you will be rewarded with a trekking certificate, meet with your guide driver and return to the lodge.

You will spend the rest of the day at the resort resting. Later dinner and Overnight rest.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park/ Boat Ride/ Evening Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 3 of 21-days safari to uganda, rwanda, kenya & tanzania tour, After you will start your transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, this is the only park in Uganda where wildlife and human co-exit, it is Uganda’s all-round safari destination and home to four of the African Big Five. Lunch will either be served on arrival or along the way to the park.

On reaching you will have a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects lake George and Lake Edward giving you a chance to spot some of the park’s wildlife like buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephant along the shores and countless bird species like Passing Squacco herons, Pied King fisher among others. Day 7: Gorilla Trekking/ Travel to Lake Bunyonyi

On your seventh day of the 21-days safari to uganda, rwanda, kenya & tanzania tour, you will be required to wake up earlier than usual for a heavy breakfast, carry packed lunch, enough drinking water and meet with you driver who will transfer you to the Park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while in the forest. At 8:00 am you will commence your hike to the forest led by an experienced park guide, hiking sticks are available at the HQ for support, Gorilla trekking requires one to be mentally and physically fit cause it can become very tiring as it goes on but meeting the Apes will wash away all the pain and hustle you went through to get to them. the hike takes form 2-6 hours depending on where the gorillas hosted their previous night and on your trekking speed. On meeting these endangered mountain Gorillas, you will be allocated a full hour to spend with them in their natural habitat, get a chance to watch them play, breast fees, communicate among others. After the full hour you will hike slowly back to the park Headquarters where you will be rewarded trekking certificates to justify your contribution to the conservation process of these endangered species. Return to the lodge for relaxation and shower.

In the evening check out of the lodge and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi afresh water lake, debatably the second deepest lake in Africa with fresh bilharzia free, hippo and crocodile free meaning its waters are safe for swimming, it also 21 islands with various shapes and sizes. Day 9: Travel to Akagera National Park

You will have breakfast and transfer to Kigali the capital city of Rwanda for a city tour, the tour will involve visiting the many genocide memorial sites, local markets, former president’s palace, Museums. Along the way you will be amused by the many organized hills of Rwanda where it derives its name the land of many hills.

After lunch drive to Kigali Airport to catch your scheduled flight to Nairobi Kenya. On reaching Nairobi you will be meet by our company representative in the country with your name printed on A4 paper, give you a lively welcome and head to a booked hotel in Nairobi for rest and overnight stay.

Day 12: Travel to Lake Naivasha/ Boat Ride

Day 13: Hell’s Gate National Park for Bike Riding/ Lake Nakuru National Park/ Evening Game Drive.

There are no predators in the park making it a perfect destination for a walking safari, bike riding and more. The park is home to wildlife like Zebras, Giraffes, Impalas, Buffaloes, Rock hyrax among others. After the adventures at the park en-route to Lake Nakuru arriving in the afternoon. Lunch will be served along the way. On reaching you’ll have a walk at the streets of Mto Wa Mbu located along the road close to the park, this is a small town where travelers mingle with Tanzania from across the country. Have an evening game drive in the park where you will spot tree climbing lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, impala, elephants and more till sunset. Dinner overnight rest at a booked accommodation.
