Day 1: Kigali International Airport
The driver-guide will pick you from the Airport & then transfer you to where you will be able to check in a Hotel/lodge, relax lunch, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 2: Tour the Genocide Memorial & transfer to Nyungwe Forest
Breakfast & then embark on your visit to the Genocide Memorial, a remarkably known place of remembrance, place recognized as since it is where about 250,000 victims of war were buried in huge totals, in mass graves in the region/ area & a big mark denoted on it in commemoration of the viciousness/brutality of the year 1994 genocide.
Not only that, but still you are bound to swot & find out more about the dimmest & darkest hour about &rwanda safari tours, quite an educational experience though.
As you transfer to Nyungwe Forest you will possibly drive through the town of Butare (135km), where you will get an opportunity to sightsee the Butare National Museum unveiling/exhibiting an array of ethnographic entities that will open your eyes about the custom, norms, lifestyle culture wise of the Country-Rwanda.

Day 3: Engage in the Chimpanzee Tracking activity plus Canopy trail
Breakfast, then proceed to Nyungwe Forest National Park offices where you will be briefed on the set of tips that you have to follow while tracking these endangered species, once located, take the opportunity to watch them network with each other, their ways, body behaviors & also take photos. Return back to your lodge, relax, have lunch.
Get ready for the afternoon canopy walk where you will spot several species that reside in the Tropical Rainforest National park. On this walk (Canopy walk) you will have a chance to have a glimpse at various plants, colorful butterflies, birds among others. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Kivu
Breakfast, then transfer north from the Nyungwe rainforests. This Lake Kivu forms the boundary between the countries of Rwanda & DR Congo, it also has gotten the finest inland beaches you can ever love to spot, check-in, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Kivu –engage in a whole day Kayaking safari

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Enjoy your breakfast & then drive to Volcanoes National Park, it encompasses sections of the Virunga mountain series plus its 5 volcanoes that formulate the boundary between countries like Uganda, Rwanda & DR Congo, still, it is a recognized park sheltering mountain Gorillas. Day 7: Gorilla Tracking
Enjoy your breakfast, leave with your packed lunch, then transfer to the park’s headquarters for briefing, get divided into groups, outlined for you the Dos & Don’ts of the activity, then the guide will take you as close as possible to the basis of your tracking activity, then you will track these gentle giants (Gorillas) of one of the habituated groups.
This activity (Gorilla Tracking) takes a duration of about 2- 8 hours &once located, you are permitted to spend 1hr, watching them, taking photos, etc. What an expressive experience. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 8: Engage in Golden Monkey Tracking Plus Canoe Safari
Have your breakfast & then set off to track the Golden Monkeys. These endangered species are widely spread to the Volcanic mountains of the Virunga series & do reside in the Bamboo flora regions close to the Volcanoes floor. You are permitted to watch them strictly for 1hr though.
Engage in the afternoon canoeing safari along the twin lakes of Bulera & Ruhondo that are positioned at the floor of Mt. Muhabura, be able to spot the beautiful dark blue waters of these striking lakes that are enclosed by the systematic Peaks of the Virunga volcanoes.

Day 9: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Breakfast, then drive to Akagera National Park, positioned in the Northwest of Rwanda close to the boundary of Tanzania, recognized with Savannah in the west, Kagera River in the northeast of Rwanda.
It shelters a range of Wildlife such as Herds of Elephant, Buffalo which appear from the Woodland to drink at the lakes, while you might stagger a Leopard, spot a Hyena/ even a Lion. Giraffe & zebra hangout in the savannah and more than a dozen types of Antelopes reside in the park, plus over 500 Bird species. Check-in, Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 10: Whole day Game drive in the Park

Day 11: Have a private Boat trip along Lake Ihema & transfer to Kigali
Enjoy your breakfast, then set off for a Boat Trip on the Ihema River to spot a variety of water birds like Cormorants, Fish eagles, kingfishers, etc. Then you will also spot wildlife such as Crocodiles, Hippos on the banks of the lake, you could even get luck & sightsee Elephants & Buffalos at a handy distance. Day 12: Departure
