Detailed safari Itinerary of 9 Days Best of Uganda Safari wildlife and gorilla trekking safaris

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

On the first day of 9 Days Best of Uganda Safari wildlife and gorilla trekking safaris, your guide driver will pick you up from Entebbe airport and transfer you to a hotel spend the day and night there with lunch and dinner served, as you prepare for along journey of tomorrow.

Day 3:  Boat Cruise along rive Nile 

Have an early breakfast, and head to the northern part of the park which hosts a number of wildlife for a morning game drive. In this drive you stand high chances of spotting on the wildlife in the park like elephants, lions, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Waterbucks, Hippos and different bird species, if at all your lucky enough you will spot the rare viewed leopard so keep your cameras close because there is a lot to capture on Camera. After the drive head back to the lodge for lunch. Later go for a 2 hours boat-cruise at the bottom of the falls, you will spot more animals like hippos, crocodiles, and a number of water bird species. After head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national Park

A stopover in Fort portal for lunch and embark on your journey. You will arrive at the park in the evening through the Mweya peninsular. After if time allows you will have a hike at the Maramagambo forest to explore the bat cave. After long day head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

A stop over for lunch and en-route, on reaching the park, you will have a community walk in the Batwa pygmy’s community. After head to the lodge for dinner and an Overnight stay.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest

Searching these gorillas can take 2-6 hour, on meeting the you will be given a full hour to spend with them in their nature habitat. This activity is the most rewarding and over whelming of all.
