Detailed Itinerary of 8 days kenya and tanzania safari
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Masai Mara National Park
You will be meet by our company representative at your location, will give you a warm welcome and short briefing on how the Safari will run. Start your journey to Masai Mara National Park, the drive is long but the most rewarding way to enjoy an African Safari as you get amused by the landscape, bird life, local people, vegetation cover among others. Arrive at the park in perfect time for a lunch break. Later in the afternoon have a simple game drive in the park as a way of introducing you to the wildlife to encounter during your full day game drive. Later return to the lodge for dinner and night rest.

Day 2: Full Day game drive in Masai Mara
On this day you will wake up to a heavy breakfast, carry packed lunch and enough drinking water as you prepare to spend the full day in Masai Mara. Transfer to the park wilderness where you will be rewarded with great views of the Park’s wildlife like Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Cheetahs, Lions, Wildebeests, Hippos, Buffaloes, waterbucks, Antelopes among others. Time for a picnic lunch will be availed while viewing wildlife. Later return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight rest.

Day 3: Hot Air Balloon ride and Cultural encounter.
You will wake up before sunrise and transfer to the park for a hot air balloon ride which gives tourists a chance to spot the park’s wildlife at an aerial view in the savanna plains dotted with acacia tress like zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions, various bird species among others. Climax the experience with a champagne breakfast in the wilderness. Enjoy lunch in the wilderness and head for a cultural encounter in the Masai village to meet the Masai people who have kept their culture untouched despite the fast modernizing world. Later return to the lodge for dinner and night rest.

Day 4: Fly to Serengeti National Park
Wake up to an early morning breakfast in at the hotel, after check out depending on your flight schedule and transfer to Migori Airstrip to catch your flight to Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti national Park. Drive to the park, have lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Later in the day dinner and will be served and night rest.

Day 5: Full Day game drive in Serengeti National Park
Have a very early breakfast as you prepare for a full day in the Serengeti endless plains, carry your picnic lunch, enough drinking water, cameras and binoculars. Some of the wildlife you will be in a lookout for include Lions, Zebras, Thompson gazelles, Topi, Elephants, Ostriches, Cheetahs, Hippos, wildebeests, Buffaloes, primates and various bird species. Your picnic lunch will be at the visitor’s center as they inform you more about the park and its wildlife. Later in the day return to the lodge for dinner and night rest. Don’t get it twisted that full day game drives are the best way to get best pictures/ videos of the wildlife and great experience.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Crater Rim Walk
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast, pack your belonging and bid farewells to Serengeti National Park as you transfer to Ngorongoro crater. Lunch will b e served along the way to the crater and en-route. On reaching the crater have a guided nature walk safari with in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area offering you opportunities to come up close to the crater’s wildlife, after the long day transfer to a booked lodge for dinner and night stay.

Day 7: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Drive
This full day is similar to that of Masai Mara and Serengeti, you will wake up to a heavy breakfast, carry packed lunch and enough water, meet with your guide and transfer to the park’s wilderness. The crater is full of big numbers of predators like lions, Hyenas, Jackals, cheetahs, elusive leopards and other animals include Wildebeests, Zebras, Buffaloes, Elands, Warthogs, Hippos and Giant African Elephants. You will also have a visit at the large but shallow Alkaline, Lake Magadi where you will spot large numbers of flamingos, hippos and other water birds. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and night stay.

Day 8: Maasai Boma visit, Departure
After an early morning breakfast on the last day of 8 days kenya and tanzania safari, you will head for a village visit at the Maasai Bamas, these people co-exist with wild animals of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you get a chance to learn how they survive. After start your transfer to Arusha where you will be dropped off either at a hotel or at the Airport to catch your flight back home or to the nest destination.
