Detailed Itinerary for 5 days Masai Mara and Serengeti safari from Nairobi
Day 1: Transfer from Airport to Masai Mara National Park
You will be picked up by the driver from the Airport/Nairobi/wherever location to start your 5 days Masai Mara and Serengeti safari from Nairobi, you will be, be briefed slightly about your safari, and then drive to Masai Mara National Park.
You are free to view the beautiful scenery along the way to the park, on your arrival, check-in at a hotel/lodge, have lunch, and get ready for a late afternoon game drive.
On your involvement in this Activity-Game drive, you will spot animals like Buffalos, cheetahs, Leopards, Elephants, etc. Retire back to your lodge, dinner, overnight stay

Day 2: Whole Day Game Drive at Masai Mara
Have Breakfast and embark on your early morning game drive, and on your search, you will be able to spot a series of wild games and the big five: Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalos, Lions, and Leopards.
Return back to the lodge, have lunch, and get ready for the incredible afternoon game drive, and this time you will have the chance to spot wildlife that you could have missed in the morning. Return back, dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Depart from Masai Mara and transfer to Serengeti National Park
Early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge by approximately 6:00 am, enjoy a short game drive as you are transferring out of the park to the border of Isebania as we cross over to the other destination of our safari, and be able to view the other part of Masai Mara as you exit the park through the gate (Olololo) in Mara west.
Continue to Serengeti National Park after all is done like once checked and cleared by the customs office. As you enter the park, you will have enjoyed a 2hr Game drive as you still spot the plains of Serengeti. Check-in, relax, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4: Whole Day at the Park –Serengeti
Have breakfast, embark on the morning Game Drive via Sogore River Circuit that does twist into plains south of the River of Seronera, and more so get a chance to witness and clearly spot wildlife like Thomson gazelles, Ostriches, Cheetahs, Lions, etc.
Continue to the visitor’s center, it is close to the lodge where you will have lunch, inspect some of the wildlife displays found in this center, gift shop which is also selling maps of the area and some detailed leaflets which you may be interested in to buy.
After lunch, get ready for a late afternoon Game Drive where you will transfer through the Kopjes route, which goes anticlockwise around the Masai Kopjes, and to your surprise, this is where we have gotten a total of lions & some large cobras.
Now Kopjes are battered granite outcrops, dispersed around the plains of which most of them are small environments, providing gloom and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains & this does shelter lions very well, especially in the dry season. Return back to the lodge.

Day 5: Departure
Enjoy your breakfast in the morning, check it out, relish a wider view of some of the animals returning from hunting, the nocturnal animals plus lions waking in the dawn, all through that morning game drive as you leave the park for your departure, lunch en-route, end of 5 days Masai Mara and Serengeti safari from Nairobi.
