The 4 Days Uganda wildlife Safari and Chimpanzee tracking safari will take you up to Kibale National Park famous for gorilla trekking, birding, nature walk among others. The park is home to a number of primates like chimpanzees, baboons, monkeys like colobus monkeys, L’Hoests monkeys among others; a chimpanzee permit is at $150 per head. This safari involves visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park located in western part of Uganda approximately 376 km from Uganda’s capital Kampala, the park is famous for its tree climbing lions and other wild animals like elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, Hippos, antelopes, over 500 bird species and tree species. You will enjoy various activities in the Park like birding, nature walks, game drives, boat cruise on the Kazinga channel.

Day 1: Kampala to Kibale National Park
On the first day of 4 Days Uganda wildlife Safari and Chimpanzee tracking, the guide driver will pick you from your location after breakfast, brief you about the safari and how it’s going to run and embark on a 6-hour journey to Kibale national park from Kampala via the masaka-Mbarara highway. You will have stop overs at the Equator in masaka and for lunch in Mbarara. After proceed with the journey to the Park, on your way you will drive through the spectacular landscape and view of the Rwenzori ranges and the country side of the area, you will reach at the park in the afternoon. Check in at the lodge and have an evening walk in Bigodi wetlands and sight on various bird species. Later have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking-Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Second day of 4 Days Uganda wildlife Safari and Chimpanzee tracking, guide driver will pick you up after an early breakfast and head to the park head quarters for briefing of dos and don’ts while in the Village. At 8:00 am you will start the search for these primates in the forest. Chimpanzees carry a DNA that is a
lmost like that of humans. During chimpanzee trekking you will also sight on different bird species like green breasted pitta, rumped tinker-bird, monkeys like L’Hoests, Grey cheeked Mangabey, white and black colobus and red-tailed monkeys and different plant species will be seen. After lunch you check out of the lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving late in the evening, check in at the lodges, have dinner and call it a day.

Day 3: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
This activity requires you to wake up very early in the morning, have an early break fast and go on a morning game drive searching for animals, this is the best time to spot while they graze and hunt like lions, leopards, water-bucks, buffaloes and elephants because these animals tend to hind away from the sun during the day. Drive back to the lodge after, for lunch. After lunch you will go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will have a chance to see crocodiles, herds of buffaloes, elephants, hippos and also a number of bird species. After drive back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 4: A visit to Lake Katwe and the Crater lake region- Departure
After a heavy breakfast, drive to lake Katwe and also the crater lakes region. You will sight on workers at salt mine at Uganda’s oldest salt mine and various salt pans. After proceed to Kampala, have a stopover in Masaka at the equator and also for lunch, embark on the journey to Kampala reaching late in the afternoon and the driver will drop you to your destination either at the airport or Hotel, this marks the end your 4 Days Uganda wildlife Safari and Chimpanzee tracking safaris.
