Day1: pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park: Depending on your location on the first day of 4 days Uganda gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking safari, you will be picked up by our driver guide and start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park the home of the endangered mountain gorillas which is about 540km[7hrs drive] from Kampala and this will you to start the journey very early in the morning at around 8am, you will then have enroute lunch in Mbarara city one of the beautiful towns in western Uganda. After your lunch in Mbarara town, you will then have a stopover at the equator to stretch your legs and take photos standing between the two poles of the equator. After that stopover at the equator, you will then continue with your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park and you will arrive late in the evening, on arriving you will connect to your lodge and then check in, where after checking in you will have your dinner and overnight.

Day2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Ugandan gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park: after your early morning breakfast on your second of 4 days Uganda gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking, you will then meet up with your driver guide, but you shouldn’t forget to carry enough drinks, snacks and dress in the best attire for the trek. The driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the endangered mountain gorilla trekking, telling the gorilla trekking rules, guidelines and regulations while trekking them [dos and don’ts]. After the briefing, you will be divided into two smaller different groups depending on the available gorilla families and then set off amidst armed rangers and local guides to locate these endangered gorillas in the forest. This gorilla trekking is considered to be a full day activity because it takes much of the time to locate the movement of the gorillas in the forest and no one can predicate the actual time of locating them. However, while searching for the gorilla you will reward with a chance to see other animals in the forest such as elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, bush buck, bush pigs, golden cats, duikers, giant forest hogs and primate species like redtailed monkeys, l’hoests monkey and so on, birds and butterflies among others
And once you find or see the endangered gorilla families, you will be allowed to trek the given gorilla family for one hour while observing, recording videos and taking photos and so on. You will not be allowed to use flash photography because that flash light scares these gorillas. After the trek, you will later trek back to the office to receive your gorilla trekking certificate before reaching to your lodge and after you will drive back to your lodge to refresh.
In the late evenings, you will meet your driver guide and take you to the Batwa community to enjoy the Batwa cultural experience where you will be entertained by the local Batwa pygmies with their fascinating music, dances and drama thus making you evening a unforgettable one, after the batwa cultural tour you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day3: Golden Monkey trekking in Mgahinga gorilla national park
Golden monkey trekking: on the third day of the 4days Uganda gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking safari, you will have a very early morning breakfast at the lodge and after the breakfast you will check out from the lodge, then meet your driver guide who will transfer you from Bwindi impenetrable national park to Mgahinga gorilla national park where the trekking of the Golden monkeys will take place and on arrival you will connect with the lodge and check in, after checking in you will be taken direct to the park headquarters for a briefing about the golden monkey tekking before starting the trek in the forest to search for the habituated troop of these endangered golden monkeys in the natural habitats and briefing will start at 7:30am where the trekking will start at 8am. You will be led into the forest to locate/ search for these unique primates but according to the trekking rules you must be above 12years of age to trek the golden monkeys and this trekking consumes about 2-4 hours. After the trek, you will drive back to your lodge or relax and in the evening you can decide to enjoy a canoe ride along Lake Mutanda. After that you will have your dinner and overnight.
