Detailed Itinerary 20 Days South Africa Safaris
Day 1: Cape Town –Hermanus-The Cape Whale Coast Route
We will transfer straight from the active Cape town city center through the vineyards all the way reaching Hermanus-the coastal town, have a stopover at Stony Point Nature Reserve-the hugest refinement of the incredible African Penguin, then the primeval stretch of South Africa –Cape Whale Coast, comprised of farms, villages, rivers, caves, valleys plus bays & runs through the town of Rooiels (about 150km) towards the East.
Day 2: Route 62-Oudtshoorn
second day of20 Days South Africa Safaris, oudtshoorn is recognized as the Ostrich capital of the world, therefore after crossing the Hottentots –Holland Mountains-Klein Karoo, then reaching this destination (Oudtshoorn), proceed to the picturesque Route 62, where you will have a stopover so as to eye witness & spot a range of farm stands laterally on the way.
Day 3: Heart of the Garden Route
Breakfast, then embark on your directed trip to the Cango caves, eye witnessing the amazing creations that have moulded in these striking limestone caves. And so when returning out of the caves you will proceed to the Outeniqua mountains, then reach the lovely Garden Route shoreline where you could later on/rest of your days engage in the optional activities therein such as Hiking, lessening up at the beach, etc. Garden Route is a gem containing a series of lovely beaches.
Day 4,5: Tsitsikamma
This is one of South Africa ‘s National Park’s best aquatic reserves where you will get ready to discover its rugged shoreline in the morning while on foot. You also hike along the waterfall path covering the 1st section of the world famous Otter trail-this is noticed as a difficult trail though, so then after your hike return back, get an opportunity to do relish the Woodcutters excursion in the afternoon where you will encounter the remarkable Tsitsikamma Biome, it’s both plant & animal life plus its past inclusive.
Day 6,7: Greater Addo Elephant National Park Area
An option posed your way to tour Port Elizabeth, then in the afternoon embark on touring the Addo (prominent for Elephant populace where they titled the park from). After having breakfast, then transfer to Lesotho, & here we will engage in discovering the mountains while on foot, ending with a tour to the village & getting to know more about their lifestyle, their survival in the mountains, etc. People from Lesotho/Basotho are famous for their cultural making of Hats, blankets, secure steeds (known for their surefootedness in the mountains), to mention but a few, where you could involve in the optional pony trek.
Day 11,12: South Africa- Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park
Transfer via the sandstone bluffs of the Golden gate, on day 11 -12 of 20 Days South Africa Safaris, heading to the mountains of the Drakensberg. This park is under UNESCO World Heritage Site, consecutively the span of the Kwazulu-Natal province. You can call it uKhahlamba (meaning ‘Barrier of Spears’ in Zulu) / Drakensberg (meaning ‘Dragon mountains’ in Afrikaans ‘way of naming). Those who love to hike & also discover in the mountains this is the finest destination for you.
After having breakfast, then get ready to set off for your hike activity in the mountains, but as you transfer along you will get an opportunity to spot the San rock Art with an indigenous guide.
Day 13: Kwa Zulu Natal Coast –St Lucia

Day 14: Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve/Isimangaliso Wetland Park
on day 14 of 20 Days South Africa Safaris, embark on a game drive in the morning in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve (this is one of the strongholds of the threatened Rhinoceros). This park shelters prominently the Rhinoceros, plus of course other wildlife such as the notorious Big –Five (Elephants, Lions, Hippos, Leopards), then later you will engage in a Boat cruise along the St Lucia Estuary.
Day 15,16: Swaziland –Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
After having your breakfast, you will then set off for a nature walk so as to discover a lot in the area. Then later on embark on a direct walk via the Esijeni community letting you sight of daily living sources such as fetching water, grinding maize, washing clothes in the stream, constructing a wall, etc.
Day 17: South Africa –Kruger National Park

Engage in the touring of this park all in search for the wildlife that resides here. Relish the exciting moments in this park, & you will be enlightened about a series of manners for some of these creatures/animals found in the park all elaborated & explained by the tour guide you will have.
Day 18: Kruger National Park- Panorama Route
Just in the morning you will have a slight transfer to Panorama Route (short distance taken though), the central plateau & low lying Bushveld of Kruger National Park are being rifted in by the looped along the cliff, & well the high spots of Panorama do expose & present the picturesque pleasures. Also you will have a chance to tour the high points of Bourke ‘s luck Potholes, the 3 Rondavels & god’s window.
Day 19: Kruger National Park
Breakfast, then embark on your Game drive in the National Park where you will get an opportunity to search for a range of wildlife & then spot too such as the notorious Big Five (Elephants, Rhinos, Lions, Leopards & Hippos), not only that but still this National Park also shelters an approximate of 336 trees,34 Amphibians,507 birds,49 fish,147 mammals ,114 Reptiles.
Day 20: Departure
