Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

On this day you will picked from your location either at a hotel/ residence in Nairobi, your guide driver will give you a pre-safari departure briefing and after commence with your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park home to one of the Rift Valley Soda Lakes and one of the wildlife viewing destinations in Kenya. Up on arrival you’ll be given a lively welcome, book in to a prior booked hotel for your lunch break.

After lunch you will have a game drive in the park where you will spot countless pink flamingos on the showers of Lake Nakuru and in the park’s savanna other possible bird sightings include Montane white-eye, red-capped lark, Long-tailed widowbird, Fish Eagle, Rufous-throated wryneck, Shinning sunbird among others. Later return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight Stay.

Day 2:  Lake Nakuru National Park -Masai Mara National Reserve

Early in the morning you will have a heavy breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in the park and after start your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley escarpment view point where you will have a stop and watch it. Drive to Narok County the land of the Maa people where you will get a chance to spot locals doing their day to day activities. You will arrive at the park in perfect time for lunch at booked hotel/ camp and a short relaxation before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Possible sightings include Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, Wildebeests, Hippos, Buffaloes, Hyenas and countless bird species. Later return to the lodge for dinner and night rest.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Park (All Day).

Wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast, you’ll check out with your packed lunch and transfer to Masai Mara National Park for a full day game, the morning is usually the best time for wildlife viewing, during this time temperatures are low hence favorable for easy wildlife viewing. Possible sighting include Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Zebras, Wildebeests, Cheetahs, Buffaloes, Hyenas, Elephants among others.

After breakfast pack your belongings and check out of your hotel and drive to Isebania border of Kenya and Tanzania. After immigration clearance start your 8 hours and more transfer to Serengeti National Park of Tanzania, as you head to your booked accommodation you will be driving inside Serengeti National park.

Time for a picnic lunch will be provided and en route, you will spend the all-day game-viewing, absorbing the breathtaking scenery. Possible wildlife sightings include Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Hyenas, Hippos, Giraffes, Leopards among others. Later return to the hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6:  Central Serengeti national Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will transfer to Ngorongoro crater via Olduvai Gorge, Olduvai Gorge is where the fossils of early human that date 3.5 million years ago were found. Lunch will be served overlooking the crater and the rest of the day will be spent at leisure.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater -Tarangire National Park

Wake up to have breakfast and head to the Ngorongoro rim for a game drive, after drive straight to Tarangire National Park one of the lesser known game park in Tanzania. Tarangire seconds Serengeti in being home to a variety of wildlife species, the park is not jammed with big number of tourists giving you the best wildlife viewing with viewer tourists while on the Safari. Tarangire river is the only source of water in the park hence wildlife gathers there hence best place to spot the park’s wildlife. Time for lunch will be provided. Later in the day check in to a hotel for dinner and night rest.

Day 8: Tarangire National park – Arusha Airport – Zanzibar Island

Depending on your departure time, check out of the hotel for Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar after breakfast. On reaching Zanzibar, you will be picked by a hotel driver to your hotel for lunch, relaxation, leisure and have a good time for the rest of the day. This is your accommodation for the remaining safari days.

Day 9: Zanzibar Island – Sunny Palms Beach Bungalow

Day 9 of 11 day bush & beach serengeti masai mara zanzibar ngorongoro, today after a heavy breakfast, you will enjoy a full day relaxing time and enjoyment to wash away all the hustle of the previous safari days. You will have beautiful garden view with the sea breeze, free time in a peaceful environment, have a walk around the hotel compound to enjoy its environment and services, later head for a cultural encounter to  interact with the local people at a local market place. The rest of the day will be well spent on the beach. Activities an excursion to Old Stone at an extra fee. The Stone Town of Zanzibar is the best example of the Swahili coastal trading towns of East Africa.  The building and setting reflect its particular culture, which has brought together and homogenized disparate elements of the cultures of Africa, the Arab region, India, and Europe over more than a millennium.

Day 10: Sunny Palm Beach Bungalows

This beautiful day will take you for a spice tour at the spice and fruit plantation close to Stone Town. You will get a chance to know more about not only the spice but also the organically grown herbs with clear description of their uses and how to use them through cooking and cosmetics. Visit the Pemba terrain, it is the only hilly and vegetated area while the rest of the coast is filled with mangroves and lagoons interspersed with idyllic beaches and islets. Coral reef offer one of the best East Africa’s diving experience. Time for a lunch break will be provided. Later head back to the lodge for dinner and night rest.
