Linyanti Concession
Linyanti concession is a geographically fascinating destination located in northern Botswana, northeast of the Okavango bordering Chobe national park, Linyanti concession covers an area of 120,000 hectares of pristine wilderness encompassing of Linyanti river, iridescent green papyrus swamps, shady forests, and open grasslands.
Linyanti concession is a habitat to a variety of wildlife species such as elephants, red lechwe, impala, waterbucks, giraffe, lion, hyena, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, buffalo, caracals, Aardvark, and many more.
Linyanti Concession is also internationally recognized as important birding areas because of the huge population of birdlife it inhabits, these birds include swamp boubous, collard sunbirds, white-rumped babblers, Hartlaub’s babbler, Allen’s gallinule, Schawlow’s louries, carmine bee-eaters, thick bellied cuckoo’s, narina trogons, racket-tailed rollers, Bradfield’s hornbills, Bennett’s woodpeckers, Arnott’s chat’s, secretary birds and many more.
